Casey Edwards
Welcome. I'm Casey Edwards, writer, advocate, and founder of Voice With a Purpose. For much of my life, writing has been both a refuge and a bridge—a way to make sense of difficult experiences and a way to connect with others through them. My work is rooted in the belief that healing rarely happens through perfection. More often, it happens through honesty, compassion, and the willingness to keep showing up one small step at a time. Through Voice With a Purpose, I share reflections on healing, recovery, mental health, resilience, belonging, and personal growth. I am especially passionate about reducing stigma surrounding addiction, supporting survivors, advocating for mental health, and creating spaces where people feel seen without needing to hide their struggles. I am the author of The Hearth Room: Five Lanterns for Heavy Days, a gentle companion written for those navigating grief, exhaustion, uncertainty, or life's heavier seasons. Whether through articles, reflections, journals, or advocacy work, my hope is always the same: to offer a little light, a little hope, and a reminder that no one has to walk alone. When I'm not writing, you'll often find me creating resources for healing, spending time with family, working on Voice With a Purpose, or enjoying the quiet moments that remind us what truly matters.
